I am sure we all all familiar with the great commission.

Matthew 28:19 “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.  And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NLT Bible)

One of the problems we have of building church today in a post-modern world is that people no longer see “the church” as relevant.  I know I am not sharing something that is new to you here.  How do we combat this?  I think it is clear that in the Bible it shows that Jesus and His disciples went to were there was a need.  They cast out demons, healed the sick, preached the Word and did it all for the Kingdom of God.

As I look at the the current climate, I asked myself a question where is everyone spending their time if they are not in church?  They are in bars, nightclubs, sleeping around, doing drugs, gambling and getting drunk.  All of these have taken priority over  following Christ because the people of today, God’s creation don’t see it as a priority.

I then realised that the internet has become so popular that every generation that are on the earth today are using the internet to run their lives and communicate with others.  The internet has become the devil’s playground with pornography, gambling, violence, other religions and aethiests all using the internet to try and replace the Christian message of today.

As Christian’s we need to use the internet to do battle for the Kingdom of God, by using it as a vehicle to provide content for unbelievers and spread the Message to all nations in a relevant way.
