Well, here I England it’s a bank holiday and its half term and the sun is shining ( I know that doesn’t happen often).  This is a quick post before I take my daughter out for a picnic in the park.  I wanted to get this out today though, because this tool turned me losing money to targeting a niche with little competition and making money online.  I want to transfer this big lesson to “the Church”.

If you have read any of my other posts I have been online for 10 years and for 7 of them I didn’t se the importance of keyword research and spent thousands of dollars on google adwords campaigns trying to generate traffic to my website.

When I learned how to track popular keywords and how to find “long tail keywords” then this helped me to start to dominate niche’s with little competition.  I was completely clueless on the internet when I started marketing.

When I was found in between a rock and a hard place and virtually broke, I actually found myself an internet marketing coach that is one of the biggest names in network marketing online.  I went through his mentoring course and I am still learning form him now.

One of the biggest lessons I learned was how to find keywords that didn’t have massive competition.  To do this there are a few keyword tracker tools that I like.  The main one I use now is:-

Hexatrack – At present this is FREE and there is a pro version with a monthly subscription.

The main thing to do though is look for “long tail keywords” these are phrases with 3 or more words that are being searched on a regular basis.  They will bring you targeted visitors within the niche you are operating in.  Enter the discussion, did you find this post valuable or would you like to add something.

here are a couple of other sites that I woud recommend.
